Zildy, named after a story book little mischievous witch, is a big softie. Though her eyes are so close together, one does wonder what she sees in her periphery, but that doesn’t matter as she glides down the trail with the smoothest trot. This girl knows her comforts and is often found enjoying the warm thick straw in her house, or playing with her neighbour big-boy Chip. She runs alongside almost everyone as a stellar team dog – the kind you don’t so much notice in her consistency and beautiful gait. Zildy took a little longer to mature and it wasn’t until her 4th year racing that her true grit has surfaced.
