We are Jesse Terry and Mary England, and we own and operate On The Land Sled Dogs in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.

Jesse grew up in Sioux Lookout and is a member of the Lac Seul First Nation. He got into dogs as a teenager when his dad decided to buy a few huskies instead of a snow machine. He mushed recreationally throughout his teenage years and started racing mid distance races in 2012.

Mary joined the scene in 2018 after moving to Sioux Lookout from Alberta. She was enamoured by the dogs from the start and started racing shortly after.

We are figuring it out managing the race teams, working, raising kids, and promoting dog mushing in our region. We are so pleased to be living our lives with our dogs front and centre.
