Every sled dog some day hangs up the harness and retires to a chill life of a house dog. An important part of our kennel operation is making sure our dogs find excellent homes after their athletic career.

Alaskan husky sled dogs make the most wonderful companions and house dogs. They have years of attentive connection to humans. They relax like no other and are quite calm indoors. They do not get restless for long runs, and yet have many years of healthy active living as walking, hiking, skijoring companions.
