Minnitaki is the largest dog in the lakes litter and almost as big as his father, Riley. As big as he is, he is equally as sensitive. This lovable meathead sure loves getting close and looking deep into your eyes, or jumping up on his house an attacking you with licks as you try to clean his water bowl. He typically runs next to his brother, Nipigon near the back of the team and is an utter power house, making us wonder whether the term “horsepower” really ought to be changed to “Minnitaki-power”. He’s a likely selection for the 2026 Iditarod team now with 2 years of solid race experience.
